| Here we are, the opening game off the new season at MM, The Giants take on the new home of Brett Hodgson in what should be a fantastic game, and no doubt a tough one. The warrington team have some great ability all over the field, strong and fast outside backs and strong running forwards with plenty of creativity from 6 and 7.
possible line ups.
GiantsGiants team news
Robinson is still out after having his shoulders done in the close season, Simpson is still waiting on a visa after signing from South Sydney. Luke O'Donnell is set to make his Competitive debut in the Claret and Gold.
Wolves team news
The 2010 Challenge cup winners will have two big name signings making their Competitive debuts against the Giants, One will be very familiar to the Giants faithful. The former Man Of Steel and Club captain Brett Hodgson will play against his former club along with Joel Monaghan, who left Australia under a Dark Cloud after a well reported incident.
The game offers plenty of entertainment and should open the new season in style.

| I don't like our chances too much.
It seems like a win. I am always wary of Huddersfield. Especially after trouncing Saints.

robinson plays hooker now for us (which lunt and faiumu are going to cover till hes back)
brough has been a standout performer in the two pre season games for us, i hope he can be consistent this season and if he is can be man of steel material.
see you lot in cardiff

That may well be tested.
Either Wire find their feet quickly
or
it might be something like 3 tries a piece and kicking decides the winner

First game? First real opposition?
Glad I'm not Wigan or Saints (no offence Huddersfield)
It is too early to tell. I can't see Huddersfield winning it. We can score both Tries and Kicks and other teams should be afraid of that.

| When we played against st helens last week, our Defence was fantastic the amount of defending we did in our own half and saints having no real breaks just shows we can defend even better than previous seasons. Personally i think this game will come down to a Brough drop goal Wonder what the odds are on that. Should be a fantastic contest between two off the top teams in the league. Plus if McGilvary does play Joel Monaghan had better watch out.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

| Wire with the better backs vs Huddersfield with the better pack. For me it'll depend on the weather, if it's wet, a Giant's win, if it's dry, a Wire victory.

It will not be wet, as the roof will be closed. So it's a wire win.
