| Following on from the Russian, I'd be interested to know who rides on here and what bike they have got.
I recently passed in August and have a Kawasaki ER6F and am now bored of it and looking for my next one. I've test ridden Street Triple, Triumph Sprint ST, R6, ZX6R, VFR800 but not sure which way to go.

| Wires71 well done for passing, I passed my test 2 years ago and commute 40 miles each and every day winter and summer.
Your bike choice should depend on how often and what type of riding you do. Warm weather riding only then the R6 or Speed Triple would be fantastic, but as soon as the winter sets in these bikes are just not practical enough.
If you regularly ride winter and summer then the Sprint St would be a great choice. I know someone who has a VFR800 and because of the electronic management system the bike is often in with the mechanic.

Cheers. From what I have read ther ST beats the VFR hands down and the VFR VTEC system is not a favourite amongst a lot of riders. My missus has just bought herself a Street Triple - it's mental!

| I have had in the past two years, a honda nc30 race bike, a honda cr125 motocross bike, a kawasaki kxf250 motocross bike and i am lucky enough to have a yamaha yzf750 race bike built my brother in law ex WSB BSB spannerman. I do not do roads due to being fearfull of other road users.

| Ok, seeing as people are a bit reluctant to post pics of their bikes i'll start the ball rolling. This is me with my pride and joy, its got fully synthetic race oils, race can, race shocks, uprated brakes and race tyres.
Thats my limited edition Valentino Rossi lightweight race helmet that i'm wearing, i didn't have time to slip into my full race leathers as they are black and it was dark in the shed and couldn't find them.

| Passed my Bike test (part 2) around Jan/Feb 1985 !!
I passed on my Red Yamaha RD 125LC it was beauty…. Only bettered by My 350 version, the Yamaha rd 350 LC YPVS, or Elsie as she was known. Before passing my test I had the most fun ever on my Suziki ER 50 road legal/Trials bike. Just built to be abused…
My last bike I had over ten years ago now, it was a kawazaki ZXr 750... that was one fast motha … I was told it would do 160 mph……I can vouch that that estimate was pretty damn accurate.
But I haven’t ridden since I realised I was too often driving right on my skill limit. Me and a mate where doing the Bala Trawsfynned race…oopps sorry the Bala Trawsfynned Road, I had left him well behind on his Yam 400 and I took a hump in the road that fast I took off and landed on the opposite carriageway It was one of those moments when the bravado is interrupted by moments of Feck me I could have killed myself…
I’ve got a family now and quite Rightly my missus reminds of that When we are at traffic lights next to a bike and I utter the words “I DO like those Ducati’s”

| I'm riding a Derbi GPR125 racing on my cbt, been riding for 4 years now. Thinking of doing my full test at the start of next year. Best 125cc bike on the road in my opinion.

| I've got a Vespa ET4, although it was nicked a few weeks ago and is currently in a compound in Stretton waiting for a lazy insurance company to come and inspect the damage some little scrotes did. So I may or may not get that back.
I've temporarily replaced it with a Kawasaki ER5 whilst I wait for my insurance to come through and then I will go back to a scooter. Probably a Vespa PX200 and look to fit a 210 kit to it.

Afraid I have to disagree! The two best 125s are the YZF125R because it looks gorgeous with a full size frame and commands a lot of road respect for a 125 (it is also the fastest), and the Honda XL125 Varadero is excellent. Firstly because it is big enough for a human to ride, unlike the CBR125 and secondly because it is a V-twin so sounds like a real bike!

Although 6ft 1in i have a 34 inside leg, and just don't feel comfortable on sports bikes, i look like Donkey Kong does on a cart
