| As a Leeds fan I was appalled by the conduct of some of your players on Saturday.
Firstly, your forwards were bullies at the collision, refusing to allow us a fair share of field position.
Then your backs kept moving the ball wide too quickly for our defenders to stop them.
To make matters worse, Ryan Atkins unfairly exploited the fact that Ian Kirke has no left arm, shortly before half time.
As if that wasn't enough, when we did cross your tryline, Wire players didn't get out from underneath the ball to allow it to be grounded. Hardly sportsmanlike.
And what was Briers doing? Many of his attacking kicks put undue pressure on Leeds, and a couple of them seemed aimed at Wire players.
Poor form all round. Hang your heads in shame.
Oh alright, great performance. Sorry we didn't turn up and make a game of it. Could have been a close match, but even if we had played better, your lads would have taken some beating in that form.
I gather there was some bother post-match, which is a shame because where I was both sets of fans won or lost with good grace. The Wire fans I was on the train back to Leamington with even tried not to gloat too much...

| If you play like that, you've every chance. Defence is key to Grand Finals, yours was exceptional on Saturday.
I haven't had the heart to watch the TV coverage, but I couldn't help suspecting the one we did score was from a forward pass.

| Hilarious.
I am still amazed myself that the Wire have finally learnt to put all tactics together and use them in a game plan. Amazing. Hope we can keep it up.
As for your bunch - onwards and upwards. With a squad like Leeds have I am sure they have already put Saturday behind them.

Not intended that way chief. I don't think Leeds played as they could have. Much of that was down to Wire's performance, especially defensively, but a couple of soft tries in the first half didn't help us.
Wire were superb though, hence I believe that the damage Leeds did themselves was in failing to make it the classic it could have been if we'd matched your intensity. I sincerely doubt we, or any other team in this country, would have beaten you in that form though.
Champion sides are at their very best in the really big matches. Wire were at their best on Saturday, and as I've said, keep that up and you'll take a lot of stopping in October.

| Agreed - was a horrible match to watch and haven't dared to watch it again on telly.
But fair play to you lot, thoroughly deserved it and the way you played showed that you wanted it.
Ended up staying at the Travelodge, Wembley with loads of Wire fans. Great bunch of people before and after the game, so that was much appreciated!
Best of luck for playoffs.

I do agree with your view point, but much of Leeds go forward is generated by the likes of Peacock, and Lauititi offloading to a supporting Buderus, McGuire or Burrow. To miss two key forwards who are intrinsic to your method of play will damage any side, ourselves included, ie; Morley and Westwood.
I don't think the above mentioned players would have altered the result as our line speed and wrapping up of the ball was spot-on, but they certainly would have made it a more even contest.

| The tone was set after Buderus spilled the ball twice, and Bailey failed to ground the ball in the 3rd minute.

| Leeds will bounce back..no doubts.
Had a great chat with a Leeds fan on the train in on Saturday...top bloke.
Despite the small pockets of trouble the 'RL family' is alive and well IMO.

| Rhinos fans are disapointed as we didn't give you a game to grace such a great occasion. You were as superb as we were pathetic.
Briers deserves recognition for a masterful display and a great team effort on the day.
The person every other opposing fan should fear does not even get on the pitch. It's Tony Smith. By far the best coach in SL. Can we have him back, please?
