Apparently Willie Manu is being considered by McNamara for the Four Nations even though he played for Tonga in the 2008 World Cup icon_sad.gif

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4729.jpg

Willie Manu should not play for England for two reasons

1. He is Tongan
2. He is not good enough

Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture. Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else. Quite sad, really![/quote:1juz9zgo] SPOT ON! Agree with the first bit but disagree with the second however believe the first bit is sufficient. Ultimately he'd perform better as an impact second-rower than Westwood would.

Lost the plot or not (I agree by the way), it's great to see 7 Wire players in the squad - all deserved in my humble opinion by the way!!

Chris Bridge (Warrington), Tom Briscoe (Hull FC), Kyle Eastmond (St Helens), James Graham (St Helens), Ryan Hall (Leeds), Sean O`Loughlin (Wigan), Danny McGuire (Leeds), Adrian Morley (Warrington), Jamie Peacock (Leeds), James Roby (St Helens), Nick Scruton (Bradford), Michael Shenton (Castleford), Kevin Sinfield (Leeds), Sam Tomkins (Wigan), Ben Westwood (Warrington), Shaun Lunt (Huddersfield), Kevin Brown (Huddersfield), Richard Myler (Warrington), Ryan Atkins (Warrington), Jodie Broughton (Salford), Leroy Cudjoe (Huddersfield), Peter Fox (Hull KR), Lee Smith (Leeds), Gareth Carvell (Warrington), Ben Harrison (Warrington), Jamie Langley (Bradford), Tony Clubb (Harlequins RL), Ben Jones-Bishop (Harlequins RL), Andy Lynch (Bradford), Joe Westerman (Castleford), Kirk Yeaman (Hull), Louie McCarthy Scarsbrook (Harlequins), Eorl Crabtree (Huddersfield), Scott Moore (St Helens), Paul Sykes (Bradford), Jon Wilkin (St Helens), Willie Manu (Hull FC).

The Wigan fans are crying that Joel Tomkins hasn't been included.

Not crying, but with some the guys in that squad particularly the one who isnt even English I think Its harsh on him. I know you guys will disagree becuase of your bias and bitterness towards him, but imo he should be in. Cant argue with the 7 Wire players in there and most will and should make the final squad. Must be good to see so many of your players in there, hope we get to that level soon.

Some shocking inclusions in there. How can Sykes ever be considered???

Because of McNamara being the Bradford coach beforehand is the only possible explanation. I do actually think Joel Tomkins should've been in the squad because he is better than Willie Manu for the the squad and I think he has a great future ahead of him.

[sizeInfact, he shouldn't be in because he's a dirty barstool...

Of course Joel Tomkins should be in there. However, there are hardly any back rowers in there. Far too many props. Maybe he's going for props in the second row (LMS, Peacock, Moz, Crabtree).

Interesting that Riley hasn't made it.

No Leon Pryce either?

ABW.:

Joel Tomkins should be in, he's streets ahead of Manu, who is also 7 years older. The inclusion of Sykes is another joke, McNamara is starting to worry me already with these two selections.
