Just out of interest, with Wire going from strength to strength and the prospect of stadium expansions do you think you would end up playing a couple of games on the road to try and tap into the populous of the Cheshire-Stafford area by playing at Crewe or Stoke? Hypothetically, if this was the case would you happy and do you think it would work?

Cant see it myself, but if the RFL are reading this you can be certain somebody is now ringing Villa Park re next years Magic Weekend with a view to including a midlands side in the next round of franchises.

There is no rugby league presence in the midlands. Even rugby union doesn't have teams decent teams there. It would be a total waste of time as football dominates every other sport down there. |
