Train to Lea Green is your best bet. 33 and 17 buses run frequently to town centre from right outside.

My plan......lift from work to St Helens. Walk to the ground. Taxi back to Newton. Walk from Newton to Sankey.

Less money spent on public transport and plenty of exercise. Job's a good 'un.

Part of the long term plan from thier new stadium is to reopen an old trainline that would give them a link to the line that runs through Central station, which would give a nice direct link to not only us but all the Yorkshire clubs too.

I did it on Grand Final night about 4 years ago fella, think it took about 1hr 45mins, but I was pretty steamed!

Don't expect to be anywhere near that on Friday (well, maybe if we win!! ) so probably looking at about 1hr-1hr 15mins. Will burn the alcohol off though.
