Dont be fooled by their result against the Crusaders, they would have been taking it easy in preparation for the game against us. In fact they had quite a number of players 'injured' for last nights game who will probably be fit for next friday.

They always target games against us and play every trick in the book to get an advantage.

I think they will go into next fridays game as slight favourites due to the fact that we would have had a much tougher game against the bulls than they had against the crusaders. Also they will have an extra day to recover than us.

I really cant stand saints due to their complete and utter arrogance throughout their glory years plus they have a few players who are just not likeable at all.

I hope and pray that we can sock it to em next friday but in reality i think i know whats coming - narrow defeat when really we deserved to win.

Let's get tonight out of the way first before we start looking forward to next week's game. You'll have a week to spout your vitriol and opinion after 7.30 tonight...

i agree with you donkey. their fans are arrogant. i know what you mean when you say they save it up for the big games
and were always on the receiving end. against crusaders, we didn't play on full power. backs yes but morley and carvell only
fired after the kick off with atkins and that incident were carvell was static receiving a pass and it went off again. wire know that in the big games
morley and carvell will be on fire- at their intimidating best, like the saints players are when they play us. i really hope we
can do them this time. too many times have their fans taken the with no respect given to how close they have
been from losing to us in the past three years. lets f**cking batter them next week and give them some of their own
medicine. come on wire.

I don't think that Saints fans are arrogant - certainly not in the way that 80s Pie fans were. The main issue with Saints fans is that they typically refuse to accept that the opposition might be quite good, too, hence, as mentioned above, the mickey-taking at the end of 80 minutes when they've just scraped in after being behind most of the game. Most notably, their readiness to 'boo' anything the other side has the audacity to do, such as tackle or pass the ball.

Tonights game is very important, and I think we will win unless Matt Orford has a stonker.

However, the Saints game is probably the one most wire fans are desperate to win. Not only to get this horrible monkey off our backs but also to be able to claim bragging rights over our loveable semi scouse friends. It would add extra pleasure knowing that it will be a victory on the last occassion the two sides meet at Knowsley Road.

However the win comes, by a large margin or small I just want us to win.

i'm not sure on this one, but if you deem every other side poop and expect to see you side win because every other side
is poop, then relatively you're must be assuming that your side is slightly less poop than the other poop. i guess this is
still classified as arrogance but on a crap level.

Few Saints fans think they just dropped off with one eye on the game with us coming up which is a good thing Saints never used to do that.

If we don't win tonight then its not a massive problem but it would be great to get to the 10 point mark in the season and also keep the pressure up on Wigan, nearly a quarter of the season gone already.

Although I hate it at all I am pretty sure last nights booing was aimed at the ref not at the players.
