A Wigan fan texted in and said 'just you watch, all these saints fans will be ringing in and phoning in saying Potter out' and just at that moment, a text dropped in saying something like 'long ride home, get Potter out'

I never thought I would hear a commentator who could "err" and "umm" as much as Ray French, but credit where credit is due, Radio Merseyside has found him a suitable broadcast partner in Alan Rooney.

And just a quick note about Jack Dearden.......it's okay to agree with a caller once in a while Jack, I know it's extremely rare that you do, but it won't hurt to do it once in a while.

I want a radio like his. Able to spot 2 forward passes.
