| They have to grit the roads first so they can get down them ,I for one have not seen a gritter out yet and the roads around Warrington do not look like anyone has gritted anything , the council stated they were prioritizing schools and main roads , my question is when are they starting there is no evidence of anything happening !
I will take my own rubbish to the tip if I have to but you have to be able to get to the tip , Our council are a joke !

| I may be able to come to the assistance of you fellows.
Apparently, in the old days, they used to have something called 'BIN BAGS'...that's 'BIN BAGS'....I understand you can obtain these from most general stores or supermarkets.
With these bin bags you can, so I believe, put your excess waste into them (I think the clue is in the name?), and when they are full, you can tie them up and put them in a suitable location like your back yard or back garden.
Whilst you are doing this you can also be checking Warrington Council's website....Yes, apparently they do have one....and this website will keep you informed of when you can expect to see a refuse collector in your area.
Now the important bit....When the refuse collector is due, simply put your collected 'bin bags' next to your wheelie bin and, lo and behold, your rubbish will be collected.
I appreciate that this operation will require intiative and, most importantly, common sense on the individual's behalf, but with a little patience it will all be relatively painless.

All well and good but when the bags have been left out,for so many weeks and rats and foxes are feasting on your left over scraps. You will be the 1st to complain

No, I won't....I may be slightly miffed at the inconvenience at having to clear up the mess, but I won't start crying like some on here, who seem to want the whole world to sort out every little problem they seem to have.
Yes, not having your bins emptied may be inconvenient, but it isn't the end of the world...As I pointed out before, a little intiative and less whinging might just make your lives a little easier all round, for everybody.

| They haven't gritted a single road in Warrington. I've been on most of the main roads through town and there isn't a drop of it anywhere. They admitted as much to my Father in law when he went to get grit for his drive and road because he has a disabled son in a wheelchair. Lazy fookers.
The bins aren't as critical as you should really by now have taken you excess rubbish to the tip in Woolston. I made two trips there with unrecyclable stuff and about seven to the cardboard and bottle recycling facility in the Jolly Falstaff car park. Yet you see all the lazy fools with cardboard piled up around their bins.
