| Morley has been immense as a player and leader, but so has Hodgeson.
Couldn't argue with either of those choices.

| you seem to forget its the players that vote, and seeing as most wil have played against each other im sure they will go off the contenders performances and not where their teams finished in the league.

you avin a laugh, morley has just as much right to win it as hodgsen, if not more, weve lifted the cup, they finished 3rd, dont get me wrong, theyve had a good season and so has he, but mozza has bin superb

He can't vote for Hodgson, so he only has the choice of two!

| Morley will get it like Ryan Giggs got the PFA player of the year award last year, when there isn't an obvious candidate and there are more than one credible contenders (in this case Morley and Graham) then players will vote for the one who commands most respect amongst their peers. Morley and Peacock are the most respected players in the game today and as Peacock isn't in the shortlist, Morley will get most of the votes.
Another factor which will play in their minds like it did with Giggs, is that this is quite possibly Morley's last chance to win Man of Steel, so those who are torn between the two will think "hmm well Graham is going to take on the mantle as the senior forward in the league in a few years, so he's bound to win it, let him have his chance at a later date...."

Agreed, he's been the most influential player this season IMO.
Says alot about the standard of our domestic competion, as he is streets behind the likes of Jarryd Hayne and Billy Slater.

Morley's better than the Aussie forwards and he's not even the most influential player, so what does that say.
