Everyone who is off contract will know full well whether they will be going or not.
As for the others, even if tony doesn't want them they will still be here as they have contracts. If a contracted player doesn't want to go then there is nothing the club can do about it. It looks like the following;
Rauhihi - Retired
Johnson - Wigan/Wakey
Pickersgill - Widnes
Penny - Widnes on loan.
Blythe - whoever will take him

| Who cares.
I've got my favourites, one of which I fear may be shipped off to Widnes but sort of 'sod it' really. I knew the moment Smith walked through the door there would be casualties, some unluckier than others and it's proved that way so far and I don't expect that to change. Whatever he does, he does with the team in mind, and decisions are made that he feels will strengthen the club, if one or two have to leave to get one in, or none in, but Smith thinks itd be better for them/the club then so be it, regardless of if I like them, it's the way it goes.
One trophy and counting.
Go, Che.

Think you could possibly add Blyth to that list of people going out on loan or for good as his chances are limited now.

With most clubs recruitment for 2010 well underway, or even completed by now, you would think that anyone who will not be here next year would have been given notice a while back to give them, or the club for contracted players, time to find a place for next year. If I was a Warrington player, and I only got told I was being released this late in the season, I wouldn't be too impressed!
However, I suspect his comments may refer to advising players that they will be on loan for 2010.

I hope its true, whether it be Wigan or Salford.
Although, didn't King Cull give him a fairly sizeable 4 year contract two years ago? Im not sure anyother club would be prepared to stump up that kind of cash for Mr Hospital Pass.

I think this would be more like it than him going to Wigan..... it was them that pooed on him in the first place years ago! I just heard the Wigan "rumour" from my cousin who plays in the reserves.

| We'd know if Clarke was leaving I reckon.
I can't see Smith kind of 'disrespecting him' almost, by not letting him have his moment this weekend. If Clarke was to go, after almost a decade of service, he'd deserve his moment, not being ushered quietly out of the back door.
Aside from this, he's got a contract, Smith rates him highly, he offers versatility and is a big, professional presence within the squad, he has all the hallmarks of an individual that Smith likes with how he lives his life, how he conducts himself etc, so he'll be staying.
