The last time we wore primrose and blue hoops at wembley we lost, we also lost in 1975 wearing primrose and blue, touch wood our lucky omen at wembley will turn out to be a white shirt with a primrose and blue chevron.

Not to bang on about omens and that, but in '74, we also played against a club from West Yorkshire mining town and had a mercurial, somewhat controversial and irritating little St Helens born half back playing for us. |
