With only Johnson being the only player ooc at the end of the season and the departure of Gleeson it seems that we will only have room to bring in 2 players who will they be ? is the 1 yr extension for Briers to allow Myler to play out his contract ? or is Monnas leaving ? what centre would you sign ? for me it would be shenton which forward would you sign for me it would be Burgess he is wasted at Bradford !

Or is TS happy with the squad he has ? he seems to be signing them all up !
although the V Anderson signing seems a bit of a wobble on the TS crown imo ! bit of a strange decision imo !

johnson,rah, pickergill and poss carney gone end of season i think.already gone, gleeson and readon plus briers and anderson on reduced contracts i would think that should leave room for a couple of players to come in.i would go for atkins at wakey good english left centre with bridge at right centre and have vanderson to cover centre or back row

im hoping for another blockbusting prop to replace rauhihi.
if either morley or carvell got injured i think we would struggle big time.
Wood and Cooper are ok coming off the bench but lack the impact of the likes of Morley and Carvell.

Looks like Tickle could be on his way, and we seem to hear a lot about Sinfield as well (although is highly unlikely he'd sign them both).

With Rah and Picks on their way, I think another top prop is the priority, with an out and out centre as well hopefully - I think either position could be filled with an aussie.

Myler is the last one - It looks like we'll keep both Briers and Monnas, with Monnas as hooker, and clarke in the back row - but that would mean loads of cover all over the park - Myler, Briers, Monnas, Grix, Clarke and Bridge all as half backs, and Higham, Monnas, Clarke and Vinnie as hookers.

SO, with Myler I would hope for at least one more - probably a prop, and then Tickle and/or a centre - Atkins or Shenton would be nice!!

Surely a few weeks agao we were thinking that Monnas, Vinnie, Briers would be leaving.

Now that they aren't. I just don't see where the money is going to come from

So where have the Matt Orfords, Sonny Bill Williams that posters on here were so certain that we were getting. Even Myler looks like it will be 2011 at the earliest if he comes unless we have a cunning plan!!

I agree with most of that Padders, I think we may bring in an impact prop in the shape of Maurie or Feka and possibly look at a utility back as well, Tickel would be a good addition as well.

Get an extra 50k for 1 player only=Briers.

Maybe TS intends to promote from within. Certainly some talented youngsters in the reserves and academy, if given opportunity.

I'm not seeing the need to sign a centre for next year. Think Bridge and King have improved so much under smith and Grix has also shown he can do a job there.

Myler would be nice, It'd give him a year to learn a few things from Briers and Tickle would be a good addition.

IMO a priority should be a prop to replace Rah, don't think Cooper is quite there yet and we'd be screwed if we were to lose Morley and/or Carvell to injury. Sam Burgess would be nice but would there be room in the salary cap?
