| How much blame should be put on his doorstep for today's performance
IMO he picked the wrong team for a start, playing in the wrong positions and regardless of how much input TS had during the week, the job of getting the team ready was left with one man and he failed.
I was confidant before the game started that we would win despite us having our two forwards missing, the lads should by now know what TS expects of them but today it was like watching the team that played 11 weeks ago again under the guidance of Mr Lowes.
Interesting that TS commented on Teletext that he thought his England commitment played no part on today's result but i disagree, if TS was in charge throughout the week in training etc etc then i think we would have seen a major difference in today's performance and have no doubt that with him back at the helm we will beat the Dragons on Saturday.

| Jimmy could have posted his exit notice today along with a few of the players, couldnt see many playing like they wanted a new contract for next season out fo those that need to.

Couldn't agree more, surely Lowes wont be given another contract.

I'm on about Lowes not the team, we haven't won a game this year with Lowes in charge. played 5 lost 5 and if you include the games at the end of last year he lost about 5 or maybe 6 on the bounce, he isn't good enough to be an assistant never mind a first-team coach.

Che Smith has decided to keep him on as Assistant coach.
What happened to "In Smith we trust"?

| The plan was clearly to have Monas as interchange hooker - something that many posters on here have demanded all season. Losing Briers scuppered that, and we looked disorganized from the moment he went off.

LWF doesn't know better but LWF has an opinion that's the difference.

| Can't blame Lowes, would only imagine he has been following instructions all week.
TS would have strugled to pick a good team with Higham, Westwood and Morley out. Then to top that losing Briers.
We could have easily lost to Cas as we played poor, sounds like Bradford were just less poor than us

Do you see that as a good call seen as Bridge has been excellent at centre and pretty average at HB, Clarke has played 80 mins many times and doesn't need an interchange hooker although if you were going to play one then surely you play Thompson rather than disrupt the team further by chopping and changing positions.

| Any chance of a lock on this thread??...
Surely the 'slagging off Jimmy Lowes' thing got a bit tedious about 3 months ago??
P.S...LWF??....Yes, we know Jimmy ain't much cop, it doesn't need you waffling on about it to prove it...

| He left it to his assistant coach....He took the england squad away to play, and im sorry guys but if he cant go away and trust his assist coach to do the job, then Lowes has a lot to answer to!
Tony had the England job before he came to you, so its not his fault i dont think. So get off his back chummies and open your eyes and your brain receptors...blahhhh
