settle for not getting into the play offs if we won the challenge cup.
seems like there will be alot of teams fighting for play offs this year and we seem to be a little off the pace at the moment.
just wanted to know everyones thoughts

No, no way. I've waited all my life to se us lift silverware, but I wouldn't swap that for a place in the eight. |

All the eight really is, is a marketing tool to make more cash....As a competiton its merely a way of stretching out the season until we reach the almost inevitable conclusion of the top 2 meeting at Old Trafford. |

realistically how far are we going to get in the top 8? maybe if we're lucky we'll win a game maybe two at the most we have no chance of getting silverware

Is this that 'state the obvious' game? Would you rather get caught in the wheels of a combine harvester or go out for a nice seafood supper with Dorothy Mantooth?
I'd give my left nut to see Wire in a cup final, let alone win one. I'd take a carbon copy of Hull's season last year NOW, especially as we are officially in rebuild mode. If we can get to Wembley I can live with not making the SuperLeague playoffs and being eliminated in the 1st round.

I must admut, I don't get people being so dismissive of the Cup and the GF being the be-all and end-all. Crying it loud, it's been nearly twent years since we made a major final. |
