| Hi I've just joined the forum after reading some great stuff for the past ten years, so best wishes to everyone for 2020.
Not sure where the club is up to with season ticket sales but some interesting stats in this year's RL Yearbook. The Wolves were fifth in last season's averages with an average gate of 10648. This represented an increase of 866 over the average for 2018 and proved to be the largest increase for 2019 other than London who more than doubled their gates from 896 to 2014.
Season tickets in our bit of the north stand have all been renewed so I'm hopeful that we are at least at the level of last year's sales.

| I think our attendance was affected by a couple of things.
Mainly the disappointing rugby that started with early games vs Saints & Salford.
....but early home games vs Wigan were also at a period when they were playing utter garbage and there was a dismal following from them....the loop fixtures wasn't particularly kind.
I don't like to point to away support as an excuse but in contrast Wire were fairly strong to help boost rival figures.
By and large the performances on the field was a major contribution to fans who couldn't be bothered to turn up....I was one of them.
After the diabolical vs Saints....I couldn't get myself up for the Salford home game. My reason...if they can't be bothered, neither can I. I was unfortunately right

| But didn't the poster above say we had the largest increase last year?
Maybe the attendance was boosted by rubber duckies annual pre season prediction that we will win the lot.

Welcome aboard AFS.
We'll have to show more on the field of play in 2020, otherwise attendances will slide. I'd be interested in the figures for first half of the season, and the second, to see if the trend is on the up, or going down.

If that is the case, it makes you wonder why Karl Fitzpatrick was ringing me end of November asking, why i hadn't renewed, and would i like an extended 'earlybird' price if i did it there and then, or took up the direct debit scheme.
I was on a lads weekend away so took me by surprise, said weekend is also the reason i haven't renewed yet...haha

I had that phone call, I explained why I would not be renewing, so I’m stumped as to why they tried to call me again this Monday.

| I am sure I read that Hull FC's ST holders has now passed 8,500. That's pretty good going as they have HKR and a footy team in the city as well.

The good people of Hull will realise that were up against Warrington Town FC, Woolston Rovers, the lure of two Wetherspoons and a brand new stall to open in the market.

Not to mention the buskers on Bridge Street ?
Still, considering Hull didn't win anything or set the world alight last year, they must be doing something right. Perhaps they have started up a girls beach volley ball competition at half time rather than going for a Hull flyer race. Or ........... perhaps they have signed a couple of props. Now there is an idea we could copy. !

Actually we are short of one big experienced prop for 2020.
That said we probably have on paper the best second row in Super League and for the first time in years real pace and power in the backs.
Hull Fc will be a force in Super League this year but going in under the radar suits us.
As for season passholders the club expects to sell over 9000 before the start of the season

Given our average attendance last season, I'd agree.
