Only been a few times ( typical utd fan) but imust say the ground isvery old, its no Wembley. the legroomis non existant in the lower tiers,im only 6ft but every time ive been ive had peoples knees in my head and have been doing the same to the person infront.

Also pray you dont end up next toa fatty or youll not have a seat, theyre tiny incomparisson to modern stadia.

Im sincerely hoping most of our fans stand all game which will make it a much more enjoyable experience.

I reckon Old Trafford is the best stadium in England for watching big matches in, and I say that as someone who despises Man United so definitely no bias. It's more "on top of the pitch" than Wembley enabling a better atmosphere to be generated.

The only real problem we've got with it is we're up against a team whose win percentage there over the last decade is higher than United's!

cant deny what you say about theviews and atmosphere but at Wembley i stood up tolet people past or when we had a chance and got moaned at like hell, at Old Trafford isort of have no choice but to stand up as sitting down is so uncomfy with limited legroom and space when the people next to youuse halfof your chair.

Suppose this is more of a fore warning from me to people that id expect most people to be standing throughout.

Old Trafford is a fantastic place to watch a game, the atmosphere for Grand Finals is quite brilliant.

The trouble is that a high percentage of ne'er-do-wells does unfortunately turn up to Grand Finals, and their bladders are usually even weaker than their knowledge of the game. This does detract a little from the overall experience as they can't resist going to the bar/toilet every five minutes.

I'm confused now as every time I watch Match of the Day and United are on it they keep showing this grumpy old bloke in the crowd and he has a lovely big comfy looking chair. I thought they were all like that! Thinking again though, I say it's a comfy looking chair, but I guess it can't be that comfy as he seems to be constantly checking his watch as if he wants to go home.

Gutted, anyone want my ticket? if there's no leg room then i don't want to go.

I paid all that money just for the legroom.

The stewards get a little ratty if you stand up for longer than 6 seconds.

Oh, and im pretty sure this is right, Leeds have won the last 5 Grand Finals when their fans have been sat in the East Stand. They are in this stand again in 2012.

Good luck!

Leeds fans have been at that end every time they've played there and they lost to Bradford - who had the current Warrington captain in their team - in 2005. Saints have also won four finals and I think their fans have been at "our" end every time.

It's just Saints recent losing streak that has seen the Stretford End branded "unlucky".

Personally I've asked for a wider seat with a little more legroom.

I've not been to OT since 1986 when Warrington played Wigan in the Premiership Trophy on a wet and miserable May afternoon. We lost 8-0 and if I remember correctly lost a few players to injury the week before and had a pretty make-shift side out. Tony Barrow's plan seemed to be to stop Wigan scoring, and I think Joe Lydon scored the games only try and maybe even kicked the two penalties to get the 8 points. My memory of OT was that it was bowl shaped and terraced at either end and infront of the upper seated areas. I can't remember the seats being too small, though I was only 13 at the time. No doubt I'll not recognise the place now that Utd have been able to win things and get a flow of cash in to upgrade the place, and I'll admit to being as excited for this game as I was for going to Wembley in 2009. Can't wait for Saturday to come (though not looking forward to the long drive from the South West to get to Warrington). Now The Wire!!!

It's definitely the worst ground in terms of legroom I've ever been to. I'm hoping that similar to Wembley, the Wire boys will keep us on our feet for most of the game though.

COME ON THE WIRE!
ISWT!
