It was a great game up untill Solomona went off, and then the key injuries started to show... also Silverwood letting Mossop hold down for as long as he pleased didn't help.

cant blame silverwood..he was hardly noticeble,,he reffed it brilliantly

He was good bar Mossop, the amount of time he ignored him holding down was a joke.

Best game in a Challenge Cup tie for me is still Leeds -v- Stains in the 2003 semi-final at Huddersfield.

At half time, I thought today's may match it, but it fell away a little in the second half.

Yeah up to about the 60 minute mark this was a great game after that it just dropped off from the Wire, decision making and panic rugby cost us.

Decent contest for much of the middle part of the game but we were second best throughout. We were not very good today, even down to things like Hodgson missing his kicks, our defence was sloppy and let Wigan's pacey outside backs punish us from deep. They turned up fired up to beat us and we were tame. I never really felt we would go on to win the game.

I agree. Very poor game from us but credit to Wigan. You cant ship in 44 points and hope to win or think your defence is good. What a let down. But hey ho Wire back to how I remember them.

open your eyes it was a fantastic game..just cos we lost..i`d much prefer we won naturally but appreciate what both teams contributed..be a shame if we did`nt meet again in the final at o.t
