was gutted today the only shop i seen in town with anything warrington wolves was marks and spencers!! and that was only a small window! The most important thing to celebrate in 19 yrs and still the town centre has done nothing! suppose they wasted all the money on them daft skittles!

Problem is that most shops in town centres are now chains, so unless the manager is prepared to do something the bosses dont give a toss. As far as my old fading memory can remember town was a lot more colourful 19 years ago when there were more idependant 'local' shops there

I work in sainsburys in town and were decorating the store in primrose and blue an the workers are bein encouraged to do the same...not that ther'll be many in working.

I know staff at Morrisons are allowed to wear their warrington shirts at work between today and saturday but I dont know if they will be decorating of any sort

Pentangle in Latchford and the Hair dressers on KNutsford road in Grappenhall (Edwin Allen i think it's called) are the only two shops i've seen decked in P & B. Having said that i've not seen that many houses and cars decked in it either compared to 1990. I know about the credit crunch but I've still made the effort fag out of the bedroom window, 2 lots of ribbon on the car and 2 car flags the misses has the same her car and ribbon on the babys buggy.

The Cheshire Cheese in Latchford has all primrose and blue balloons up and some rosettes.
