| How many are we looking at taking on Friday?
I would imagine they'll be the usual 500-600 who go every away but with the disappointment of sunday and the fact that we SHOULD win comfortably, will some people be saving their money for Magic weekend?
I'm looking forward to the trip, somewhere different.

| I'm going to let the cross Pennine train take the strain, have a few beers, visit a different ground and hopefully watch us play some decent rugby

| I'm going with 4 others ,bought tickets on Monday and the number on mine is 780 so looks like we have a few making the trip.
Never been Dewsbury before anyone know if there are any decent pubs near to the ground?

Out of interest I had a quick Google and it didn't seem overly blessed pub wise near to the Ground, The Royal Oak seems ok. I'm on the train so will be sampling some beer in the station bar and might have a mooch around the town before heading to the game.

| Uncle Rico, which train are you on coming home? I looked and the last train home is 10:20 and the ground is a 40 minute walk from the station. Ended up booking on the cub coach so I wasn't left stranded in Dewsbury overnight.

| Hi guys, your more than welcome to come up to the huntsman on Friday, we are a real ale pub situated next to the farm shop 4 minutes walk from the ground we also do food. If your coming via train I'd recommend a few pints at the train station 1st is a very good pub tbh.The train station is a taxi ride to the ground as its a quite steep hill and takes at least 35 -45 mins walk uphill. If you want a cheap meal then the Royal Oak is the place to eat but they aren't really rugby fan friendly as they see themselves as a restaurant.HAnging heaton working men's club is another option for you, it's about 5 mins walk too. If it's nice weather we've got a paddock where u can have a kick about in, we had about 40 hunslet fans here on Sunday singing and having a good time.Have an enjoyable trip to ram stadium it's a lovely little stadium.

MF, I live in Monton 'village' Salford-shire, so will be getting the train from and back to Manchester and they are 10 to and 20 past till nearly midnight.
Although the 40 minute walk back to the station might be interesting!!

Thanks Beka, I might have an after match beer here and book a cab back to the station? All that walking is overrated even down hill

| Live quite near so like a home game for me
If your on the train you have West Riding at the station 6 ales on. The only other place in Dewsbury is Spoons. If driving your best bets are Royal Oak sort of across from the ground with Huntsman & Boot & shoe (Gawthorpe) about a 10 min walk from the ground. Both do Real ale and food.
There is parking at the ground and those pubs have car parks if your early.
If your driving depending on which way your going or coming early on the train is Ossett
with Tap, Old Vic, brewers pride just outside the town if you love your real ales.
In the town centre you have Maypole, bar 42, Mews, Bier Huis all have real ale on.
In the ground there are some bars. Would expect Warrington to be in the uncovered stand behind the sticks. Food comes from burger vans. There are bars open in the main stand after the game.
