Possible the biggest game of the season coming up and not much on the threads about it.

I see this as the biggest league game of the season. The pies have been on fire with Wire seeming to take it one step at a time this year, not really putting eye catching performances in but none-the-less still putting a shift in and getting some good results.

Wigan are coming off a run of 13 games unbeaten I think it is... And it seems inevitable that they will win the LLS. I however can see this result confirming the league (whether Wigan will win it or not) A wire win would not only make the title race more interesting but also do so much for morale and team spirit that it would be hard to stop us from hitting some major form.

For Wigan to loose, it would be devastating for them. Their confidence could take a real knock and I can see them dropping a few points afterwards.

Either way It pans out this should be a massive game and one that can advertise how Rugby league should be played to the non RL fans tuning in. The crowd will be a massive input into how this game can pan out. Lets get it going for the lads and get under the Wigan teams skin. Boo everything they do, cheer every mistake. Let's show the pies how to really support a team. We did it at magic weekend, lets do it again!

Now the Wire!

We've won all those games on the trot yet our form went a bit west a few weeks back. I wasn't overly impressed with us against Leeds at the magic weekend and we only just scraped past Wakey. The Widnes game tells us next to nothing about our form with the kids playing.

Your normally on fire at the HJ against us so we'll need to up our game. We'll probably be missing Green, Flower, Dudson and O'Loughlin as well who have all been excellent this year.

Add in the fact that Wire need the win more then us and its tough to see past you tbh.

The Game will be massive and I can't see either team dropping a gear at all. I'm hoping for and confident that Wire can claim the points but only just. I'm predicting a very tight game.

Can't deny Wigan's great run in the league but I still think we are the better side and after a slow start to the season are now starting to wind up though the gears. Hoping for a great RL spectacle and a home win.

Been looking forwards to this for some time now as I think it will be a good indicator as to where we are as we enter the final furlong before the 'business end' of the season. We have looked impressive at times, but flat at others despite fielding a pretty strong side, particularly when put under a bit of pressure by Leeds, Saints and Hull.

Two good wins against Huddersfield and we did well at the Etihad but both sides were well below par. Wigan have been pretty similar really, some big cricket scores but also looked shaky at times as Nicky says.

All the signs say we are set for a classic, although it won't have much of an effect on the table (LLS is theirs to lose) both teams and coaches will be wanting to make a statement. Lets hope that the people of both towns turn up in their numbers and give the players the support that they deserve.

im confident of a wire win. I know wigan are miles clear but i feel we are the better team wigan just want 1st more than us it seems

I feel like with the injuries we (wigan) have for this game might cost us in this game, we only just scraped through against wakey with these players out, I feel the experience in the wire squad will be just to much in this game.

Although I'm still expecting a very tight entertaining game, with a terrific atmosphere. Can't wait for it!

Getting the excuses in early

Am never confident when it comes to playing the big teams.
