| I dont know if there has been a topic on this but does anybody know the true value to the club in terms of additional revenue. I know it would be hard to calculate with a lot of the knock on effects such as additional sponsorship etc.
In terms of gate money. Win money, merchandising, travel packages and others how much do you think it will generate.
Either way it is great for the club and as you cant just throw this money into the pot for players wages where should this additional cash be spent.
Obviously the £300K paid to Salford for Myler will put a big hole in it!!! But after that I reckon the focus should be on the youth system.
Any thoughts.

Man alive.
Do you believe that if you pull a face and the wind changes, you'll stay like that, too.

We had a thread on this but didnt get figures. I know we get 15% of gate receipts from the final + prize money. Assuming a gate of £80k at an average of £35 that would be £400k if the stadium costs are paid for by the RFL out of their 70%.

Sure I saw something like 250,000 for the win but can't find it now.

| I think that the prize money can be paid to the players as a winning bonus completely seperate to the Cap.
Merchandising and the clubs profile are where the big gains will be made.

| For me the true value of a trip to Wembley involves $1400 return flight Bermuda to London. $35 ticket and unpaid leave from work! Not to mention the booze money.
A couple of grand for a rugby match - people think I'm crazy..... they're obviously not Wolves fans. Is totally worth it in my opinion.

| Sorry dude. I'm a bit opposed to the whole Wolves thing. When I hear or see someone calling them the Wolves I jump on my high horse and correct them really quickly.
I shudder at the thought of us being referred to as the Wolves in the future.

| Wire will live forever. I guess I'm just lazy -get used to saying Wolves now in that it leads to less questions.
