i love tony smith, he makes you think he's told you loads but really plays his cards close to his chest, good interview tho'

Intersting that we never went looking for Carney but he got touted to us by, I presume, his agent.

Well whatever people think it certainly has attracted a lot of interest - viewing figures well up.

Smith mpresses me more each time I see him - he is so level headed and unflappable.

He is also becoming more comfortable with the interview technique of Mr Skents and revealing more and more each week.

I like the line that Carney will offer something to this club even if he doesn't pull his boots on - surround yourself with winners, something that previous regimes have failed to do.

Lee Briers wont be at Warrington next season, if he were to be, wouldn't you think the club would have already tied him up on an extension already?? Hmmm?
I am sure we will hear of him penning three year deal and an undisclosed signing-on deal probably around six figures at a championship club in the way Iyestn Harris has moved to Fev, but Lee will go to forward looking Barrow!!

Totally professional and a proven winner.
When he arrived the club was at rock bottom - now we are on the fringe of the play offs and 80 minutes from Wembley!
I think he has plenty of dry wit and I know he loves tripping me up!
I told Tony from day one that the Skent experience my be a little different as he was getting a grilling from someone who has been a fan of the club since 1977-78 season! It was me who made the difference when we beat the Aussies!
He knew what to expect and although he keeps his cards close to his chest that is the way it should be really.
It is no secret that Cull and I got on well and it was a sad day for me when he left the club as we went back a long way.
Jimmy - well Jimmy is Jimmy and I will probably be seeing him in the hot seat when Tony's off on England duty.

Also if Carney is on pay as you pla type deal and then doesnt, as he is reportedly fantastic for moral, could he be the cheapest psycologist ever??
