| Well in my opinion...
The Wire job is harder than the Leeds job because Darryl Powell had actually sown some decent seeds which he didn't get much credit for (from me included)
However.....
...slowly but surely Smith is going to turn you into a real class outfit. I can't help but like the bloke, despite his critics. Although he did deliver our first league title after a 32 year wait so that probably helps!
But this guy is a winner, and tonights discipline from Wire was typical of him. It shows up what Leeds are missing this season!
He isn't afraid to make the tough decisions (sometimes to a teams detriment) and he will only have players at the club who want to be there
You're gonna have good times

| You watch him when it switches to the terrace shots and he's chilled and laughing and really seems to be enjoying himself and i think 'that' is what is rubbing off on the players.
I look at this team today and our quite frankly outstanding defence and compare that to the Quins match and it's shocking just how different we are

| If he understood how much enjoyment he's put back into my life, I honestly owe him a debt of gratitude. I was sloely but surely falling out of love with Warrington and ihe's just turned it all around. He's a breath of fresh air, I think he's inspirational, I only see him on TV minutes a week speaking and he lifts me, so god knows what he must be like to be with day in day out. Everything about him smacks of winner & professionalism, and it looks like the guys are buying into his ethos.
His TV stuff is compelling, he's hilarious & doesn't realise it.
If Cull was the darling of the Warrington fans, this guy is the Princess Diana.

In Smith we trust:Black Backgrounds/Animal.gif |

| Tony Smith is a top motivator, I couldn't wait for the second half knowing that he would have given the players clear instructions at half time. Two weeks on the run now that we have come back from being behind at half time.

One thing about him, when you lose a game and he is interviewed after, he always seems reassuring, you believe what he says and have confidence that whatever you did wrong he will sort it in the week.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
His 'analysis' of the game is spot on, and you can rest assured anything that needs rectifying will be done. Ie, you can imagine tomorrow, there'll be big raps for the defence, but he'll be keen to impress the need to control the 'footy' better.
I think he's a perfectionist. I expect him to like doing jigsaw puzzles in his spare time, probably 5,000 piece ones of dalmations, solid.
