So how much are we going to miss Matt King then?? He's had such a turnaround in his time here and I am gutted he's leaving. Last night was just one more shining example of how much work, effort and pure skill he brings to the club. He's leaving a massive hole to fill.

He is my favourite player, has tremendous skill coupled with a great work ethic.

And thats without even mentioning his afro!

He's a class act that we are gonna struggle to replace next year, we've got Riley and R Evans who can step in and while neither have them have ever let us down (I'm a big fan of Riley) I'm sure they'd be the first to admit they aren't at Kings level
He'll quite rightly be remembered as a Wire legend and an all round top bloke

Gutted he is leaving too, I think we will miss him next year, hopefully King will have a word in Inglis' ear next year about having a stint in the primrose and blue in a year or 2.......or am I just dreaming

Its great that King has for the past 2 seasons been playing well & justifying his high salary, but for the first year & a bit there were a lot of people on this forum slagging him off as a waste of time & money!

Don't get me wrong I think he is terrific & will be a big loss, plus I wish he was staying for another year.

Cant believe that this guy only has two games left at the HJ. He now seems such a "fixture" around the place
