He is only young, so hopefully he will comeback just as fast, but will be able to concentrate on his upper body strength, while he is recovering from his injury, until he is mobile again.

Awful injury for a young lad with pace. Hopefully he comes back fit and ready, at his age there is no point in rushing it. I was hoping he could have really kicked on with a full pre season to challenge for a starting centre shirt, but as above maybe he could use the time to develop core and upper body strength.

Wing dilemma deepens for next year though, only Ashton and Thewlis recognised wingers, Minikin if he sticks around. And with only Matautia signed up for next year, assuming King is gone without chance of return and the lingering Wigan rumour for Wardle, we may find ourselves lightweight in the backs.

Can’t see Hudds keeping King given their signings. He’ll be back with us….sadly.

Your mate will have to arrange a loan deal for King then, because there is no way that Powell wants him back at Warrington.

I also wanted to see this, shame how it's gone for Wrench who's a centre, who's only found game time on the wing, same as Thewlis is a fullback and been dropped from fullback, or moved to the wing (now little chance of playing in his natural position due to the arrival of Dufty). Our planning for the future isn't all it could be.

For once I think all our fans will agree with Powell on this one.

You need to pray that Wakey stay up. I don't see any other side taking him and they are in desperate need of a centre. A season long loan there would be very feasible.

Have we any up and coming young wingers..if so play em in 1st team squad..you never know we may unearth a corker

I think it was Hull KR who made a big bid for King before Warrington extended his contract last year.

People will laugh at this, but King has Wigan written all over him. Good defender, particularly excellent from marker. Effective meter maker and is quick in a straight line.
