Dear god. Anyone would have dismantled Salford tonight, they were beyond abysmal and as I predicted elsewhere 2020 may well be after the Lord Mayors show for them.
Saints rely hugely on Walmsley and Thompson and when they spell them they look pretty ordinary at times.

| Exactly what I thought MIAW.
They were a match for Salford without those...
Salford will be bottom 3.

| Their attack is streets ahead of ours. We get downfield well and then faff around like we don't know each other in the opposition 10. Saints on the other hand have planned moves, runners everywhere and constantly look a threat. I do wonder at times what attacking practise we do.

I agree - we are only better than others due to the better players we have.
If you take out our better players we aren’t the same team.

Last year's runners up? According to Sky Salford had 7 new players in their team - hardly anywhere near to the team that were last year's runners up.
It'll be close v Stains and they'll probs win, but I certainly don't fear for us (as long as we pay off the ref like we did in the CC Final......copyright no-brows McManus)

| It's not a semi or a final, so saints will probably win and celebrate like mad even though their fans claim beating us means nothing to them. We'll just wait until the play offs or cup final to give them a hiding

Yes, that single win in a final against Saints in the modern era.... and the semis you’ve won to go on and choke in the final must give you great consolation....
I think in a Big team used to success, beating anyone means something, that’s what breeds winners.
Heavy sits the crown.

Yes, that single win in the single final we've played against Stains in the modern era. I'm no mathematician, but I'd call that's 100% success rate.
When we've beaten the super soaraway stains in the last couple of semis, we've NOT bottled the final. We were simply beaten by a better team. I'm man enough to admit it.
A big team used to success? That's the plastic scousers that haven't won a CC since 2008, and lost 5 successive GFs, won one 5 years back (due to playing an opposition down to 12 men for 79 mins), and then win one when SL's quality has been at its lowest ebb.....yeah, you're used to success....oh my sides.

Lost more grand finals than Wire have even been to, and have also won more GF than Wire have even been to, and won more CC finals than Wire....
But you did beat Saints in one.
