| Sky bet got prices up for man of steel. Wire players Gidley 14/1, Sandow 20/1 Clarke 20/1 Ratchford 33/1. Interesting that haven't host a price for Chris hill !!!??. Guess who's 6/1 favourite . Plays for the thugs. Holden boy himself. Shocking really he is favourite

| Of much more interest to me was the sight of three Wire Aussies in the list. The bookies obviously think we have bought quite well. Gidley is very high on the list. Sandow not far behind and Dodds is in also. Bit of a pleasant surprise this. The bookies do get it wrong sometime e.g. Warrington were supposed to have a great year last year. But even so I'll take the positive view from this.
If Gidley does have a good year we're going to be a much stronger side.

| This season Chris Hill was immense didn't make the dream team.
Last season J.Monas top try scorer didn't make the dream team.
M.Monas could have won it a couple of times didn't make the dream team.
Save your money, no Wire player will get near that award

| I agree with you Gidley is high up in the betting. I think Ratchford is worth a punt as a interest bet. I think if he is played in the right position with team we have got this year with the three new young English lads and Gidley experience and stay injury free as a team Ratchford could have a big year , we could come under the radar this year and at 33/1 it's worth a tenner !!

| I watched the Saints game again yesterday (last match). Sandow had a very decent game esp. his kicking and he's a good passer of the ball. He'll be handy if we start playing well.

have to agree with the rubber pest on this one..... the days of marauding, courageous displays from props winning man of steel have gone.
its now about flashy backs and scooting hookers.
Just rename it 'player of the year' and be done with this deceptive title.
INFACT... have back of the year and forward of the year.

Peacock has won it once so I guess that means that Hill does have a slight chance then.....

You do realise Leeds have only won Man Of Steel twice since 1998, despite winning every trophy multiple times.
