| I for one was very wrong with my predictions after 6 games. I thought 5 out of six was achievable, more realistic four wins with squad we had. So many disappointments already, although defensive has in proved, still not good enough with penalties, attack is woeful, new signings not performing. Inconsistent in established players. Where do we go from here, expeditions for season now??? People's thoughts?

| It may sound mental but i think we're a lot better than where we sit (and im a miserable sod). Put currie and goodwin out tonight and there may have been a huge difference in the result...after all they are our two best players. If we pick up enough wins to get us near the top four then who knows? This time last year cas were putting sixty on Leeds. As a betting man id say saints are favourites but id be hugely wary of their recent big game results and teams who peak at this time of year.

| I agree it's a marathon not a sprint, but our attack looks way off. We did miss our flair players in currie and Goodwin , but I fear currie will not reach his potential through his injury. Since briers stopped we have had no leader I need the pitch or some one who can change the game. The best 20 minutes of a game I've seen in the couple of years was Wigan away a boulme of years ago just before he went if injured. Since then very poor .

| My opinion is we are improving a little with each game, bar the shambles at the hudds game. We have lost Goodwin a couple times who has been a stand out player for us when he has played. No currie and its obvious BMM not quite at his best yet. Also, Roberts needs time for his fitness to improve and him getting used to the new team etc...
I was pleased with the first 40 tonight and hope we can start getting points from the lower teams in the table. Saints are mainly unchanged from last season so are already there we can improve and we will. As they say nothing is won at this end of the season.

| Is that how far we’ve dropped, hoping we pick up points from the ‘lower down’ teams Jesus wept we’re in a hole

| ...we've lost 4.
Saints are top, and haven't need to break sweat
Closer to home, we've won 2.
A Godawful Widnes, and a jetlagged Wigan.
We're averaging TWO tries per game, when SL defences are poor..
ATM , I'd be happy scraping into the 8
Judging the poor level of SL in the last few years , there's no reason why we couldn't be fighting it out for the LLS. Where we are now, shows just how far we (and SL) has fallen

| Well exactly. If saints are the embodiment of talent and entertainment in SL 2018 then by god we need Hearn. Replace fireworks with allowing biff would be a good start.

| I'd sack Price now and put Hendo in charge.

No way, Price is going take the club forward and is the right bloke for the job. Hendo, just look at how London are doing this year with a squad not as strong as last seasons. That’s all I need say.

| I don't buy into the theory we are improving week on week and I'm not seeing any discernible progress in BMM and Roberts as they gain fitness. BMM is a penalty machine and error magnet and is better off on the bench until the opposition tires and Roberts is looking less up for it with every passing play.
We are gifting the initiative through penalties and errors and look knackered as a result. Coming away from our own line we couldn't make yardage in a fleet of chieftain tanks at the moment.
Next two games - absolute must wins. If we fail to get maximum points we need to start thinking about changing the coaching staff immediately.

| Apart from Huddersfield the defence has been good this season but we can't score tries & we don't have enough options in attack. Silly penalties & handling errors are adding to the burden on the defence & high lighting that you can't win games without the ball. At least we kept Barba quiet for most of the game but the last 15 minutes turned into an opposed training session for Saints as they started to find defensive gaps. We could do with a maverick player in the team for a start, a player who can turn a game on its head.

I was rather under the impression we'd already signed one.

| Six games is nothing. Lack of pre-season for many of the players makes the six games even less important.
I’m judging nothing until later in the season.
If we’re in the Super 8s, great. If not, so what?! We don’t have a devine right to be in the eight. Leeds Cas Wigan Wakefield Saints Hull are all definitely better than us possibly Hudds too so you’re talking one more place and who’s to say none of the others are better than us? On paper I think Catalans are so there’s the eight gone!
All we need to do then is work hard to stay up again and after a year of seeing what’s what Price should be able to see who he wants to keep and all the many dead woods he wants to get rid of.

| I'm not unduly upset.
We are in the bottom half of the league and have played Leeds Wigan and Saints.
My worry going in to this season was our defence would be dreadful but apart from the Huddersfield game, on the whole its been encouraging.
our attack however is pitiful and that will cost us.
Do not underestimate how badly Tony Smith Let the quality of the team run down he should be blamed for that for eternity...
we are a rank ordinary side and will finish around 7th or 8th, it's what many of us predicted at the start of the season. I see no reason to think differently now.
I thought Roberts was showing signs of improvement. he looked a little lively and mixed up the kicking game.
by the way Murdoch Masila is a huge disappointment
