Just an update. Jock hasn't long to go, he has slipped into a sleep and medication is finished. He was prepared, had a party and said his farewells. We have spoke on here and celebrated his life.

I live on the same street as him, my kids have grown up seeing him pass on his mobility scooter, he always smiled and waved. My son used to call him 'the Warrington man'. Top bloke.

Jock has just passed away.

Only fond memories of Jock; a permanent fixture of my Wire experience as a child.

Never fortunate enough to have Jock but , the love and respect shown for him by the club and wire fans is heartwarming and inspiring ,love this club ,peace be with you Jock ,Wire till I Die ,,,, and beyond

Even though we knew it was coming didn't make it any less upsetting when my sister phoned to let me know last night.

Always enjoyed going to home, away and Alliance matches with Jock and Cynthia when I was young. He was always smiling and joking, even after what he has gone through in the past few years.

We have lost one of our greatest ever fans, and he was one of a kind.

I never met the man, only reading a few articles and posts and in those he came across as a very decent man.

RIP Jock.

Always had time for a chat when you saw him in his scooter he was like a landmark on match days. First thing he said to me was "you are from London you should not like Rugby League lad" lol top man sadly missed
