| Not good enough imo. Positioning and attitude in defence. Russell has been appalling and won't mention asotasi.

| Agreed, Ormsby was poor tonight but errors in abundance from most of the team. The officials also were poor, maybe could have got back in the game if a knock on was given on the grounding of one of their try's and then Ormsby wrongly adjudged to have knocked on for Steffs try. Probably best not to mention Asotasi!!

| Ormsby has been caught out of position several times in the past few weeks. He keeps drifting in. Why?
There was absolutely no need to come in for the first try tonight.
Ran strongly with the ball but that doesn't offset his error.

| Get rid of him, he's not good enough.
Myler wasn't playing tonight, so I need someone else to blame. Ormsby seems a good target.
I may just start a 'get rid of Ratchtford' thread instead because he was gash too.
So, the team were poor, and had no control over the game at ant point. The kicking game never moved us around the park, and the 'go forward' was lacking from the forwards. But my vast knowledge of rugby, and my insightfulness knows where to lay the blame. Squarely at the feet of a winger. WTF, the guy's been a revalation this season, he had one off day, give him a break.
I sometimes wonder why I post on this forum. My next contribution will be on the 'bring back the ginger winger thread.

| There were several key moments in the game tonight, when the momentum of the game was hung in the balance and we succeeded in surrending the initiative to Widnes meekly.
The Asotasi knock-on was one
The Ormsby break and suicide pass another
Personally, I'm undecided about Ormsby but at least he actually engineered a positive before coming up with a negative.
If you feel the need to find a scapegoat it isn't Ormsby, it's Asotasi. Once Waterhouse, Grix, M.Monas and Evans are fit again I'd demote him so far down the pecking order he's have to call the cleaner Sir.

| Wire often looked like they could rip it up but repeatedly knocked on.
It's easier naming a player that didn't knock on or give away a penalty than naming those that did.
We all know that if TS had players in there most effective position and wasn't resting some too, we would have been giving out another drumming.
We were a calamity but have many excuses too.
It's better to keep our cards down than show Leeds our hand.
Expect more of the dodgy shaky same that we've been showing through out the last month.
We've been fortunate with the draw to get the wins except for London.
R&B at hb and all is well. let's keep then apart for another couple of weeks.
Does it really matter if we get beaten at Wakefield or Catalan?
Surprise Leeds, get to Wembley then play our best team week in week out.

Leeds hand hasn't been exactly shown yet either

| Not seen last nights game highlights yet. Ormsby been in excellent form this season, when playing outside of Monaghan. So he has a bad game on the same night that Joel doesnt play ..................... Coincidence ?

| Yes we got beat - hold our hands up, but it feels a lot worse because of who beat us, hence some of the posts on here.

Agree. Laughable thread. We're blooding youngsters this year whom have just taken us on an 11 match unbeaten run; we have one loss and suddenly they're all rubbish.

| I have to say they were howling errors in defence with reading the game and positional sense.
Partially made up for it with the break and personally thought there was nothing wrong with the pass to Russell (who appears to have lost his thumbs)

Exactly Panthro, Ormsby has been a real success story in his break through season, so much so that playing outside Monaghan has worked well for both players.
Embarrassing just doesn't cover how poor this thread is.

| Lost one in the last eleven and its the end of the world.
How quickly will all this be forgotten if we win the semi.
