| During todays game at salford we scored 3 tries when the fans were all pumped up cheering the players on, and it came to a quick halt because we just couldnt compete with the volume of music playing soon as we scored. And then when the music stopped after the try and we started singing again because the momentum was with us and the music came on again blasting with a pointless song when ratchford easily noched the 2 points over. This is getting ridiculous!!
Are they trying to tell us when to sing and chant!!! Yes the songs could be mixed up a little with a few different songs rather then the same ongoing tune everytime we score. But the volume must be a priority!!! It needs to be toned down so that the fans can get behind the chants to let the players know.
At one point i couldnt even hear the person talking right next to me it wss that loud. And finally when the away teams score they have no music at all so everybody can hear them sing.
Fed up of getting drowned out by pointless music which suits the 10 years olds so they can wave their arms about for 20 seconds. Does this get on anyone elses nerves

| Been saying this for ages. Not only is the volume of it ridiculous, but it's not bloody needed full stop. The club doesn't have to create the atmosphere for us, we can create it for them.
If they put a stop to all music from ten minutes before kick-off to kick-off and put a stop to all the short sound bites of music after all tries and goals, the atmosphere will improve at the HJ.
Blaring music at sporting events is a massive pet hate of mine!

| Maybe those who want to show their appreciation, are being drowned out by drums?
Heaven forbid a crowd being told to sing by a twonk with some drumsticks.
Drums at a sports event, are a massive pet hate of mine (not accusing you of being a drummer, Caveman)

| I don't like drums neither mate. They're not needed unless the stand of vocal fans is the size of the Südtribune at Dortmund.

| At least a drum has some function, it helps keep time.
The music is more intrusive.

| Think you'll find that most the time, people kick a song off and the drums come in afterwards. Just sayin'

| Its not that they are bad. Just over compensating in some areas, rather than focusing on the core of what the wire were and are about. It could be a lot better if the little fings got changed like in this instance the overbearing music. Yes everyone wishes it was like the old days at wilderspool but since moving to the hj nothing has changed in the whole time we have been there apart from winning the cup 3 times. As far as im concerned were still missing the main prize and by winning them cups it should make both the players and fans hungrier for winning the grand final more knowing we have actually got the resources to do it now. But the hj is still not a homely place. So by making it homely with flags and replacing the music with chants (with or without drums i dont care) it maybe the step forward we need to do our bit for the players knowing that we are not just 'expecting' the win at home every game. All our fans ever do nowadays is moan about the atmosphere soon as the away team get on the front foot. Soo why not try and help them out a bit and make sure we have theyre backs and not just groan soon as there is a knock on

| We noticed that it was particularly loud today. Ive been considering leading a one man crusade to get Duran Duran back just before kick off.
If its the right record, coming out to music can be good. This is the one by Stone Roses was made for such occasions, love will tear us apart by human league has never sounded as good as it did last Sunday in the Mancunian sunshine!

| 'Talking' of inappropriate music "do you come from a land down under" for Westwood's second try?
Although to be fair it was a wingers finish

| its obvious the person in charge of the music knows nothing about being a fan on the terraces....if they did they would know when a bit of music is appropriate..and when its best to let the crowd make their own noise....its an atmosphere killer when done badly.
