Rubbish luck for the lad

Feel for the guy, always seems to happen to him

the guy has no luck.

He was excellent in those opening minutes till he went off. Hope he recovers for next season cos we miss him when he's not there.

What happened? Couldn't see a thing bar him being stretchered off.

Only negative on an otherwise brilliant night. All the best Grixy.

Looked like he had his left foot planted and the defenders tackled him waist higher and his foot was momentarily stuck and when he lifted it, it was too far over to the left. Fair play to the Saints players who realized straight away and called the medics over.

Such a shame he is a key player for us and was having a good game before the accident.

I hope it's a clean break and I look forward to seeing you back in the pnb as soon as possible.

For what it's worth, I suffered a similar injury by the looks of things.. I broke my left leg and fractured the ankle at the same time as well as my medial ligaments popping out to say hello.., I'm not saying he's done that exactly but it looked very close. I was in a full knee high pot and on crutches for 2 and half months and before they got the pot off and put me through another 2 months of physio before i was back playing Badminton in the league. (I literally slipped!!) The biggest hurdle really is the ligament damage he may of done. I hope Scott is ok, as i'm sure a lot of other Leeds fans do too.

It looked a really bad one but hopefully it's just a fairly straightforward break and he can be back for the start of next season.

An awful injury, I feel gutted for Simon. I have met him & he is a real Gentleman, a credit to himself and the Club.

Gutted for him, he's a top player and after many years he was starting to get recognised more widely in the game. I felt sick seeing the injury (especially the other players' reaction to it, which said everything) and all we can hope is that it's a clean break. He must feel awful, I'm sure the club will provide him with all the supprt he needs. I only hope we don't get a few clowns on here and various social media writing him off as 'injury prone' and sending him off to Widnes etc.
