| As it's a fixture Leeds have won on eight previous occasions - including beating our best team of recent times on our own ground after we chose them two years ago - and Huddersfield have only played in it once before and lost, I would pick Huddersfield. We will however pick Leeds.

| Leeds.
I was 50/50 before the Leeds vs Saints game but would now choose Leeds on the assumption Delaney and Jones-Buchanan will be unavailable.
I also think this provides us with the best chance of winning the competition overall.
Our biggest obstacle is the play-off officiating. The reluctance to penalise offside and slowing the play the ball dovetails perfectly with Leeds' play-off tactics.

You could look at last nights game and think leeds are battered up. True. But then they could also just be 'battle hardened'. Many times in the past leeds have looked like it's going to be a game too far, then they've pulled it out. Not saying that will happen this year, but they are a dangerous beast.
Still, unless wire flip a coin they'll pick leeds because they're the lowest ranked team, as everyone does. Club call is a pojntless gimmick.

| Leeds just had the most frenetic, fast paced & brutal game of the season. JJB got a knee injury, Delaney looked knackered, Maguire was obviously not 100%. The game was played at full pelt with every tackle being a bone cruncher. Leeds will only get 6 days to recover from the game & won't be able to fully prepare for it until Sunday lunch.
Pick Leeds we have the best chance of reaching the Grand Final if we select them.

the decision is purely on the basis of how hard and physical last nights game was.
Like you say though, it could have the opposite effect and send leeds in feeling battle hardened.

| I have no doubt you will pick Leeds. We finished lower in the table and just played a brutal game where we picked up knocks. That said, picking Leeds for Club Call doesn't usually work well for teams, and regardless of how 'battered' we look, when it comes to the Grand Final our players seem to be able to find something deep within to pull out a win in seemingly impossible conditions; I would not want to be the team facing Leeds to get to OT.
I also think this is a classic example of why we should get rid of Club Call. With no disrespect intended to Huddersfield, when a team feels they have to choose the current Champions; and a team who have been Champions for 5 out of the last 6 years instead of a team who haven't even seen Old Trafford, it shows something's wrong, and all being forced to choose a team does is give the opponent an even bigger motivator. I'm not saying we will be more difficult to beat than the League Leaders as they have clearly been in better form than anyone else, but in general, anyone thinking 'Let's choose Leeds instead of Huddersfield in the Semi-Final' seems crazy. Again, I know there are a lot of factors against Leeds and why you would choose them, but it's a very strange system.
As a Leeds fan, I'd much rather be going to Wigan than Wire. I think whoever wins Leeds/Wire Semi-final will go on to be Champions.

| I expect you to pick us, we have failed to beat you once this season, and have less play off experience.
Leeds are SL experts on how to win games when the chips are down, see you Thursday night.

| I would be amazed if we picked Huddersfield... They have unfinished business with Wigan, i can see Hudds beating them.
Wire v Hudds final please
