This Fridays game is without doubt the biggest game we have ever played at the HJ.

I am so looking forward to it and I have a great day planned.

Off work so getting some sun until early afternoon then off to some friends for a BBQ at 3PM.

At 5PM we are then going to the Tavern to commence our pre match drinkies leaving the Tavern for the South Stand at 7:15, arriving on the Terraces at 7:30 (no more beer)

What about your day? what are you doing? It doesn't matter whether you are going to the game or not still post because I am certain that everyone who comes on here would love to watch every single Wire game but work, family, money, travel distance etc gets in the way.

Cycle home, shower, change, scran
6.33pm train from Heald Green to Manchester Piccadilly
7.07pm train from Manchester Piccadilly to Warrington Central
Hope there's some free Irn-Bru available while I have a smoke outside the ground before going in

Home & changed & back out by 3.30
Join up with Steve51 and the rest of the guys for "Steve's big semi" and a mini pub crawl to the HJ by 7
Hopefully celebratory drinks at the boozer after FT!

Work 7 till 4, drive home from Salford Quays, arrive home about 4.35. Walk the dog...return home about half 5.

Put some tea in, eat tea and hopefully leave the house by about 7 to get to the ground for about twenty past. Stand anxiously eating a twin size snickers, wine gums and bottle of coke!

I'm going to work till 6. Arrive home at 6.30, eat my tea, play some FIFA 12. Check the score on the internet at 10 and if Leeds have won I'll claim to have watched it and watch the replay. If Warrington win I'll get into the air raid shelter I've had built in the back garden and won't come out until I'm sure it's safe again.

finish work 6am tomo morning bed till around 2pm up shower & shave , into town for a pub tea then slowly making my way down to the hj stopping at numerous watering holes

Work 7-4.30pm
Pick up Mum on the way back to Ashton for Babysitting duties.
Leave Ashton with Mrs Wire In Ashton about 6ish.
Park up near Maccy's, have a Large Big Mac meal with whichever McFlurry takes me fancy
Leisurely walk to the ground
Get in our usual spot in the South Stand about 7.20ish to watch the best ever Wire team that has graced the HJ turf get us to our 1st Grand Final
And then get home and online to order our tickets while re-watching the match which I Sky+'d

COME ON THE WIRE!

Do some work tonight to make my day tomorrow a little shorter. Start about 9(ish) and finish about 4(ish) before going to do the post and banking.

From there the plan was to have some dinner before driving from Wierdness to Appleton, pick a mate up, drive into Warrington and then the Tavern for a pint before heading to the ground at 7:30(ish).

BUT, the doctor I saw today has said that due to a minor condition with my right eye (I didn't even realise I had a condition!) I am no longer allowed to drive until 'it is sorted' (next appointment in about 2 months or so). Every cloud has a silver lining so now I will be catching the bus about 5:30 or so and meeting mate at the Bus Station before wandering to the Tavern for a pint or three. Onto the ground and then hopefully a celebratery two or three in the Lower Angel afterwards and try not to miss the last bus (again).

Driving up from my home in London on Friday morning, check in at the Village Hotel, walk to the ground through Warrington high street that I barely recognise. Watch us beat Leeds, get drunk and probably shed an odd tear. Remembering times at the match with my old dad at Wilderspool when I was growing up.
Ill be a nervous wreck on Friday but confident we can do it !

Work from 9am-5:30pm ('work' will be my location!), drive home for 6pm. Get changed, have some food, drive to Warrington, fret & worry all the way until full time.

Wake up, bus to Hull Paragon and onto the 1230 train back to God's Country for 1530. Bus home, shower etc then bus back into town about fivish, reckon we will go the Barley Mow for dinner and a few pints to ease the nerves!!!

Leave Oxford at 3ish...drive up the M6 praying all the way to the traffic gods....Fish n Chips in Warrington somewhere...then on to the ground.

Slightly differant leaving home at 2ish going to the ground be about 3ish, when we get there renew season tickets then go for a wander drop into Nandos then get to ground about 7.20ish and to our North Stand seats. Up early Sat drive back to Warrington get Final tickets then off to Leigh to watch our lads finish the Pies

Bloody hell you would think none of you have ever been to a semi before!!

There's no fooling us, we know that you're going to be there in the south stand with your "Super Ben Westwood" T-Shirt on...
