20896_1272707801.jpg Maybe this year we'll beat Saints!!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20896.jpg |

| IF wires and wigan get through to semi, who do u think they will pick?
Makes sense from their perpective to pick us; our record speaks for itself.
However, on a night with good/dry conditions we should be much more dangerous than last week!
Thoughts....

| If it is us and Wigan - I think they could pick Wigan - on paper the harder game for them - so would be better playing them at their place, on thier ground, infront of mainly their supporters, on thier terms, instead of a neutral ground, equal numbers etc etc- and I guess, as deffinately their last ever home game, it's a bigger final game v Wigan than us!
But, if I was them, I'd pick us and take your chances against Wigan in the final, because whoever they don't pick should beat Leeds, even at thier place!!

| Not sure tbh. Would they pick the winners out of Wigan and Hull KR to deny us a win at KR in 14 years.

| There isnt a shadow of a doubt that they will pick u lot. However it would be awesome if u bt them for the first time time ever at KR in SL, which i think you may well do.

| I actually think they might pick Wigan. They have just lost three Grand Finals in a row and will be a bit jittery about Old Trafford. Wigan are the strongest team that they will have to face so given that they have one pick at home they would be better to take them at home - they will win, in the last ever game at KR which will be so right to be against Wigan, and then they will either have a fourth consecutive final against Leeds - but a depleted Leeds which will give them chance for revenge, or they could hope for us to despatch Leeds like we did in the Challenge Cup final, and then they can breathe easier at Old Trafford.
Obviously if Hull KR or Hudds win this weekend then that throws a spanner in the works.

Which is pretty much what I said - so I agree!

| Should Rovers beat wigan they'll be the pick, otherwise it will be the winner of our game.
Unless there is some 'freak' situation whereby wigan, for example, win the game but finish with both Thompkins* brothers, Pat Richards and Sean O'Laughlin injured and out of the next game, it would be madness to pick any team other than the lowest team available!

Agreed, it's the common sense thing to do. However, if HKR or Hudds get a victory at the weekend then Saints will play one of them instead.

I'm not sure. The whole Wigan winning the Derby there thing might get under their skin. Plus they're the easier opponent (forgetting the hoodoo for a second) ad it sets them up for a peach of a final with the mighty Wire (A final i am sure that they will be sure of sure victory) or they get a rematch with leeds after taking out the two biggest stumbling blocks and they can attone for being god awful the past three times they tried.
