anyone else getting bored of it? for me we could do with some new commentators.

atm there is just no excitement and enthusiasm in the commentary.if you listen to the aussie commentary, theirs is a lot more entertaining and enthusiastic.

The sky commentators spend most of they're time argueing...Sometimes its cringeworthy to listen to...

Eddie and Stevo are legends and are far superior to anything the bbc can serve up. Jon Champion's RL knowledge is limited and he is patronising to say the least. Do you not remember his flat cap jibe at Warrington a few years back. Woods is ok but still has some way to go to get to Eddies levels.

Really don't get the Eddie & Stevo bashing. I think there great entertainment.
I can not think of another person I would rather have at the moment?

They remind me far more of WWE commentators rather than the serious sports commentry that the sport deserves. When you compare their inane drivel with the commentry from the NRL, it's like comparing Skys fanzone football commentry with the real thing from Andy Gray etc.

I agree they are entertaining. I do feel Eddie makes more sense than Stevo though, who can be irratating at times..He comes out with the same clinches...eg "Thats a schoolboy error"

I have to say things like that can be a bit annoying

Loved the KR Commentery with the Wasp and McDermot saying to Stevo if it lands on your chin ill hit it as hard as possible and do all the rugby world a favour.

Tell you what, you go have Ray French back, we'll stick with Eddie and Stevo.

I do like Barry Mac, I think he has the right balance in commentating on games, he is articulate and funny. Still Eddie and Stevo are now an institution.

Nothing wrong with eddie and stevo, loads better than the rubbish on the BBC (apart from jiffy )

The only one who really annoys me is Clarke - Classic lines include:

Rugby is all about an oval ball;
A winger must be able to run;
Its the job of the defence to stop a try

Yeah clarke is really talking through is backside, much prefer Barry Mcdermot, says it as it is. Good hit!
