Bit of a strange one, no one to one with Gary. Even by Jimmys standards he's pretty unhappy with some of the questions. He also seems to have beef with Gary for some reason, or it comes across this way. (Gary, if i'm wrong, apologies. It comes across that way to me though)

What does everyone else think. Am I one my own, or does Jimmy seem to have taken the knock with Skents ?

Well, if i may use one of gary's techniques from his interviews with cull last year. "there seems to be a lot of comments and negativity on forums and message boards, does that make you unhappy."

Strange that skents hasn't advertised it on here.

Maybe Jimmy has been reading all the stick on here and has seen that Skents is a regular poster and thinks that he is part of the anti Lowes brigade.

So maybe Skents is giving us a wide bearth.

Or maybe skents took the hump with our feedback last week, which he asked for.

Bit of a strange interview that one, I Agree with you here JWP, it certainly seems Lowes has a bag on with Gary, his unwillingness to do a 1-1 interview, answers and comments like "Were not going down that route" and "Let's not talk about turning corners".
Strange interview all around really "I don't think Catalans roughed it up" even though he complained in every newspaper article about high tackles.
He's near enough gone back on his word of "dropping players" and to say "We still believe were going in the right direction" is ludicrous.
Positives from the first 2 games were that we dominated for 40 mins and scored 3 tries in each game, sounds like he's clutching at straws to me.

He's working in the wrong town if he doesn't like being criticised. Unless he starts winning soon, it's going to get much, much worse.

The decision not to do one to one interviews was taken before the interview - although we had been told we would still get to do one, this changed at the last minute, as Jimmy needed to get away to the disciplinary hearing with Benny Westwood.
I am not aware of anything personal against me - and any way some of you on here think the club write down the questions for me to ask!!!
Few of the other media seemed keen to press Jimmy on some of the teams failings - but it is not easy doing a general media call with everyone trying to ask questions - it made it all very awkward and I hope it doesn't continue like this.
Managed a one to one with Vinnie Anderson which will be broad cast tomorrow - but most of you aren't interested to hear a player's views for some reason - and personally I would have thought they were of equal importance as to what has gone wrong.

I don't like Jimmy Lowes. I don't like the way he approaches it all. He seems very unprofessional to me. His team were booed off the pitch, about 1500 fans left with ten minutes to go. If he thinks his "I'm relaxed" attitude is the one to adopt, he needs to get a new PR agent.

"youve got to judge form over a number of games and if the person is still not playing to his high standards then thats when you drop them you dont drop them over one game"

That's precisely my point. He jumps in to stop Vinnie answering a question about letting the ocach down but then shows his impatience/annoyance with Johnson.

Ive just watched it and its obvious that Jimmy is feeling the pressure.

Ive been told what went on in the dressing room after the game against Catalans and based on that Im not surprised one bit by Jimmys general attitude in that interview.

Well done to Gary for trying to ask the difficult questions though.

just looking at his face on garys first line of questioning, he looks like them kids you get on saturday night tv shows, "ooh i'm being recorded and they're expecting a silly answer"

He seems to struggle to give a straight answer, unless he's able to about like last year.

Gary you should've asked him how long the roller coaster is going to be out of order.

that again comes back to what gary was asking about viewing figures for the coach/players. Whereas you may get a few snippets from the coach to pick over, generally from players you'll get stock answers, toeing the party line and ending with "putting it right this weekend".

No wonder we play like we do with JL leading us. No passion, no inspiration, no enthusiasm. Watched him for several weeks now on his interviews and nothing changes.
The guys are probably sitting there waiting for him to give direction and show some enthusiasm.

And he also said he doesnt drop players after one poor game. so why drop KP????

We need a coach with passion.
