I utterly deplore those loopy passes we throw to centres or wingers. They get there so slowly, the bloke who receives it just gets marmalised.

What excuses do you think I am making? I just have a different opinion than you. (To which I am perfectly entitled).

Wrench, Lindop and Gardner we look good in centre position next season based on what I have seen. It’s not a lot but looks promising.

If there’s one positive to take (late win aside) it’s that the academy-bred back line looked good.   Shoots of optimism for the future, if we can get a decent talisman to replace George, and a decent coach.   Would McNamara work? 

Totally totally agree. They are awful. Never thrown one of them ever.
