The team of 2003 would absolutely wipe the floor with this shower. In fact the team of 2002 probably would too. For all of their limitations, they applied themselves to the level they could possibly reach. 2025 has the talent, just non of them can be arrised. It's insulting. No desire from virtually any of them. I'm glad I have the excuse of living 3 hours away because if I were paying my hard earned to watch this season I'd be apoplectic.
Would kill for a Nat Wood in this side, let alone a Lee Briers

| Just to confirm current injury list (most very long term)
Backs Dufty, Taylor-Wray, Ashton, Lindop, Leyland, Hayes Forwards Harrison, Walker, Holroyd (obviously not all of these would play every week but most would)
Only Harrison is likely to be available next week. This makes it difficult to shake the team up, rest players or drop them. All teams get injuries and it's part of playing rugby but this is quite a long term list. Tough times.

I think what is irking people, and I consider myself well and truly irked of late, is that we have reverted to round pegs, square holes. Harthill for Walker? No, we persist with Crowther and Powell. Reserve or dual reg winger? No, we put King there - someone who makes Tai look like Des Drummond. And whats this thing of spelling Currie? The bloke has got an engine like a steam train, and is more likely to produce a killer pass than Williams, Powell, King or Tai put together. But no, haul him off and stick Powell on.

The players on the field cannot be bothered. The amount of injuries we've had has actually given rests to way more people in the squad than say Wigan who I guarantee have had way less rest per player all season compared to us.

| "We had enough to win and for whatever reason we didn't. We have to work a little bit harder. "
This is a direct quote from Burgess on BBC website.....
...so he thinks all we have to do is work "a little bit harder"
He hasn't got a bloody clue.

| Sorry but favouring Crowther over Harthill…or indeed Crowther over anybody is beyond the pale for me. He’s an extremely negative coach - got away with it with his first season presence and having Nicholson (and latterly) Bateman defending like trojans. We could have no injuries and he’d find a way in for Tai, Crowther and Powell.

I don’t care win lose or draw but the reserves put in a more spirited performance today. What excuse could he give for at least giving Hartill a spot, even starting him. Keeps making appearances in the 21 so just let him have a go.

| Matty russell scooting about the field would be a welcome sight now, might actually make some yards and have some effort on the field. I honestly find myself rooting more and more for Wakefield every week, i really enjoy watching them. Might become a wildcat

On another thread, I called us Spursy. We are, but they've won something, recently KF has turned us into the Manchester United of rugby league.

I generally agree with your sentiments and I know he's not everyone's 'cup of tea', but thought that Tai had a decent game today
