| King & Vaughan on reduced 12 month deals is good business I think. I would have kept Vaughan for two years but the second would always be a risk. King for 12 months gives Lindop & Wrench time to show they are up to the task.
On Yates, I think he is a great foil for a prop like Vaughan or any ‘impact’ prop - Harrison similar. Prop or 13 Yates plays the same way. I’d like to see Whitehead eventually on the bench to spell Currie at 13 and cover back row. He’s a similar type of player to Currie so we wouldn’t need to switch our style up so much midway through a game. Vaughan, Yates, Harrison plus a new prop looks a good rotation to me.

| Spelling Currie and Yates is a waste; they are both 60-80 minute players.
Incidentally Johnson was MoM and tryscorer for Halifax on Sunday. Not saying that makes him Super League quality but people were saying he wouldn't get on for an amateur team a few weeks ago.

Drinkwater, Musgrove & Johnson on the field. He took his try really well.

Yeah not sure about that. Starting centres next year for me would be King (right) and Lindop (Left). As centre cover Tai is a good option, but we are then limiting time for Wrench / Gardner / whoever else from the academy.

| He's a good hard hitting centre, but he runs out the line far too much constantly looking for the big hit. It worked against Cas but a quality side like KR will simply see a big gap and exploit it. He also still won't pass most of tge time, we had an on the plate try if he had just simply passed to Thewlis, but even as it was happening i said he won't pass, and he didn't and he lost the ball. But all in all he's a good powerful defender and runner of the ball, would he make a better back up second row. To be fair he's a decent player and we could do much worse, if we keep him i won't complain, but yeah i think the centres in Lindop, King and Wrench would be my prefered choices.
