| IMO jet lag is an over rated excuse anyway. I have been to Oz 3 times & never been jet lagged . They must have been back for 5 days for Gawd's sake. Plenty of time to assess the player availability & talk tactics.

| I have to say, in every match so far, when the teams run out, I just think we look the smaller of the two and are going to get bullied. It's a worry for the year ahead especially if we end up losing Vaughan to the inevitable ban at some stage.

If we had wanted to win enough we could have overcome Wakefield at home.

| Burgess absolutely loves jordy crowther. That in itself is enough to start asking questions.

At least he's gotten over his Musgrove crush.

| I said before the season started that Wakefield will be no pushover and definitely not a bottom side as you seem to state, their only problem will be injuries and strength in depth, they have hard working forwards and a 6 and 7 that can cause problems against most sides, I wanted Warrington to win but credit where credit is due, Wakey deserved the win and dominated every area of the game

| As limited talent wise as Jordi Crowther is, at least the guy has constant enthusiasm and plays on the front foot. Not really one I'd be having a pop at. People like Sam Powell laughing at the play the ball on the back end of a drubbing by Wigan is more concerning as an example.

| If every Warrington player had his effort and commitment Warrington would win hell of a lot more games than they would lose

Though to be fair, honestly tell me you didn't think we were going crap the bed again this week after last. It's in the stars that every Warrington team loses to a bottom team after playing a big one the previous week.
Didn’t affect Wigan though. I do find the 'yeah but Wigan' stuff on this forum incredibly tedious. This is a thread about Warrington v Wakefield, I'm sure there are plenty of places on the Internet to talk about Wigan. I couldn’t care less what you find tedious, the point is someone was going to mention hangovers or jet lag and it did not affect Wigan. That was the point. It did mate, we struggled in the first 40 when we looked very leggy. Speed and skill rescued it for us.

| Well, I'm back after a year of missionary work in Keighley and I wish I hadn't bothered.
When I saw Powell in the stand I assumed we'd reappointed him based on the ineptitude on display.
And given we are coached by a modern great of the prop forward genre, how have we ended up with a set of forwards that could be intimidated by the local girl guides?
Fortunately, the latter day church of Peter Deakin still needs a minister, see you in twelve months.

| Woeful. Burgess has a couple of weeks to turn things around. Good cup win and beat Saints away and we could be back on track. Reality says we may just pip Widnes (at best) and get bullied at Saints. Faith in a small pack, terrible recruitment, dire and predictable attack and falling out with all and sundry….not good Sam, not good.
