Regards parking I know Tesco still have a policy of you not allowed to park there for match days but as one poster has said people still do. I’d say it’s more luck than not that people have got away with it. There are a few roads close to the stadium that don’t have restrictions for example there is a small road at side of the self storage place on Winwick Road I have seen being used. Just don’t use the streets around the stadium off Orford lane etc as parking restrictions apply on match days and there is the usual gestapo out checking permits regularly.

Cheers[/quote:2i041jod] There’s a couple of businesses opposite Tesco on the back road, sorry I don’t know the name, they offer parking on match days for I believe £4 I’ve used it several times and got away okay after the game

I've parked there on match days for 10 years with no issues

Don't park on Tesco, there are warning signs everywhere, and it's not worth the risk. If it's a night match, you can park on Golden Square or Legh Street car parks for free. Very secure and only 10 minutes walk.
