[quote="Smiffy27":j3lxhhso]I couldn't see any "degree of mitigation" for Keighran. It was a good old fashioned swinging arm to the head. When I remember how some players have received big bans for lifting a player (who is play acting) or mistiming a tackle and hitting a head with a shoulder ... then I [b:j3lxhhso][u:j3lxhhso]think he should get a decent ban.[/u:j3lxhhso][/b:j3lxhhso] He's a bit dangerous is Keighran & Mr Peet will not be pleased.[/quote:j3lxhhso]
With the new disciplinary points system in place, he might not get a ban at all.
Great game. Tex Hoy was never going to kick that. John Wells spouting rubbish saying it was the correct decision. If you had a decent kicker in the team then yes but i'd have tapped it and gone for a drop goal as they were 10m out.
Find it mind boggling that Hoy went for the two. You kinda knew he would miss it, I would have just got close to the posts and I think they would have had a better chance at the one point. Lewis celebrated like they just got to a Grand Final at the end.
