| ‘The best seat in the house’ gimmick, wasn’t well thought through.
I can see it being nothing short of intimidating, sat amongst the vocal budget area of the ground.

| All they need to do now is to start enforcing the stadium vaping rules and reduce the brightness of the touchline advertising screens which plays havoc for us old codgers with eyeballs full of floaters.

| Quote Alffi_7="Alffi_7"Been a while since the last sell out, think any improvement in match day is to be welcomed.
Was covered in another post recently, but I was surprised we saw such a decline in attendances in 2024, given the team performances - around 800 per game less than 2023'"
We had a sell out v Wigan in powells second season. Then again, we had won our opening 7 fixtures. The game was a top of the table clash(which Wigan won obviously!)and had a lot of hype around it. Games need to be billed as big events to get punters in, not what they're going to see during the half time break.

| It doesn't help when people might be on rotating shifts & match days also rotate.

Not just the vaping rules but the smoking rules as well. You are right about the touchline screens, at one point last season there was an advert with a lot of flashes, which was very distracting.
Regarding the new big screen hopefully it will remain in sync with the action, was weird when you'd glance at the screen and it was seconds behind the action.

There will always be a delay between what you see live and what you see on a tv screen. It’s all to do with how the signal is bounced around whether it be terrestrial or satellite.

| its good to hear that Wire are investing in their ground, albeit it is far better than virtually every one of our away trips into Yorkshire
I know there are discussions on the Wigan forums about the RFL / IMG, but one thing that the IMG grading has done, is lead to investment in improving the fan experience in the grounds. As an away fan we dont see the things that you guys will see or be impacted week in, week out, but trust me visiting the HJ is a far better experience that when we travel to Yorkshire
however, HKR have really worked over the last few years to improve the ground, and eventually Cas and Wakey have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 20th Century (not going to push it and give them too much credit yet) and made some investments in their grounds, but still a long way from where i believe as a game the grounds should be

| The problem at HKR is it's location. Way out of the centre and little around it other than run down housing. To have a stadium within walking distance of pubs and eateries is a massive bonus.

| Our ground is great and we are very fortunate. My only gripes were that it was looked neglected and some things had stopped working well (scoreboard, PA) Also the food/drink offering was grim with poor service. The toilets, whilst mucky, are very much an improvement on the latrine under the Fletcher Street end.

true, but i think they are doing the best they can, and trying to create something within the ground
the street fair type setup is giving both home and away fans a choice within the ground, which in the past would have been a pie or burger and a pint
