|
On another note, good to see Connor Wrench training, Looks to have put a little bit of size on as well. I hope he has an injury free year this year, he's in his last year with us, and regardless of his potential, if he gets another injury that takes him out of action for a long time we might release him.[/quote:1fiqvexl]
When he’s right. The lad can shift. Top 3 in the club.

|
John Davidson says Wire are in for Sneyd?
Can he play prop?
Has Hayes picked up another injury?
According to Davidson he’s injured.
Latest was he was in training.[/quote:nws3dc3z]
As much as i do believe he would improve us, i expect this to be nothing more than his agent just using our name to increase Sneyds value as many agents do this as we are known to be a spender. In some ways i hope I'm wrong as i often am

Really hope he can play a few games without getting another injury. There comes a time when everyone gets fed up of recovering from injury & throws in the towel. He has had such a tough time. Even when he gets back on the field he'll be apprehensive. Best of luck to the lad.

| I'm glad someone mentioned Wrench; I'm also rooting for him.
He is exactly the sort of centre people say they want to see - mesmerising footwork, puts his winger away - but they bottle it if that player misses a tackle or two.

He has great pace, evasive ability and footwork, and can make space for his winger but as you say his defence lets him down. Presumably why he was dropped by Burgess after round 8 (or was that another injury?).
He is into his 6th season following debut and has played 38 games. This year is a big one for him to cement a place and a new contract.
