They've caused the 3rd tier to be opened for the first time in years apparently so doesn't seem like they're doing too badly

You would have thought Erasure would come cheaper than the tribute act about now.

| I want Wigan to utterly destroy Hull KR. I'm not usually a vindictive man, but in this instance, I want Hull KR to lose so heavily that Lewis weeps on the pitch, sobs inconsolably all the way home, and then develops alcohol and urinary incontinence problems in the off-season.

| Interesting views on here.
I’ve a lot of mates who are Wire fans and they were telling me how they are struggling to have the same dislike for Wigan as they used to.
Likeable local coach, generally likeable playing squad and play a very entertaining brand of rugby.
Think things would be different if Lewis or Welsby played for Wigan or even if Sam Tomkins still played for us.
Likewise vice versa the growth in Wire as a club is great to see. Given young local juniors a chance rather than just buying players all the time (that will reap rewards ina. Few years).
The clubs seem to have a good relationship to, Wigan inviting Wire to vegas, SJM organising Ashcroft and NGallager to play Robin Park etc.
I understand we are the lesser of 2 evils on Saturday and we’ll go back to hating each other next year haha

| I have nothing against Wigan per se. I was only a nipper in the 90s when they dominated, but by the time I was a teen it was Bradford and Leeds' turn to run the show. But by then I had learned to despise a certain club from up the road with the most vindictive, sarcastic, victim-playing fans in the league. Their last minute wins against us and vile arrogance just cemented my hatred of them. I could never say the same about Wigan, despite them being kind of 'grubby' under Macguire and Wane, there's no doubt to anyone who watched on Saturday that they're now streets ahead of the other teams in SL, and the only ones likely to give Penrith a run once again. Just have to tip my hat to them, because they are class.
