Burgess should play his best team week in week out so that when they lose in the playoffs or Grand Final for being knackered, everyone on here can moan about that too

Nah we can rest players and still lose in the final like we did earlier in the year.

Tai, Ashton and Philbin stood out for me, with King at times.
But what a poor game, still don't see the benefit of signing batemen, Holroyd and Nicholson (even though he didn't play today) are both miles ahead of him. Having experience for me isn't enough to displace effort and impact.
Genuinely a Pee poor performance from the refs and linemen today, absolutely poor calls both ways all game.
Take nothing from London as they did some brilliant stuff today and we definately got out of jail with Kennedy being sin binned.

The hurried signing of Patrick Bateman shows me Fitz is out for the foreseeable.

Very trademark Warrington performance on a sunny Sunday afternoon against a team we 'should' be beating. You could teleport that performance to almost any Wire era and it would fit in.

I think the main thing is we won and the fact we didn't win by 80 is neither here nor there. But I do hope that Burgess gives them a kick up the for how lacking in intensity we were in defence and I really hope he kept the receipt for Bateman.

I hear Fitzgibbon may not play again and I suppose, from a wire recruitment perspective, Bateman was the best we could do. For me Fitzgibbon has been a wonderful signing and integral to our whole game - he’s been a massive loss.

And also…aligning ourselves with the utter helmet Ant Middleton is not great PR.

Yet Burgess keeps saying he’s a week or so away? I seem to hear this a lot - so not a pop or owt, but seems strange this rumour persists when Burgess is saying otherwise?

From what I know he is likely to retire at the end of the season. He may want to play the last few games jabbed up or likely not. Gutting as he’s been a superb overseas signing.

That would be a real shame, been fantastic.
