I suspect that may be the reason Dufty is not playing in the NRL. Still, his benefits are far outweighing his deficiencies atm so I suppose we shouldnt complain.

This. I was inspired to do 10k on Saturday morning (I'd done just one previously). Having completed it in under an hour and a half, my admiration for our players increased considerably. It was challenging enough and I wasn't having the stuffing knocked out of me, during the 80 odd minutes I was out there.

Seriously both this quote and the one before it organising the numbering up when 11-13 and having to work his socks off and you have to find well its not even a negative really. Dufty does have a habit of when he knows he isnt getting there of switching off, which does look a whole worse than it actually is
Duftys defensiveperformance was probably as good as any in superleague this week and nobody comes close in attack.
Current MOS front runner top of the tree in terms of try involvements (Tries and Try assists) I've seen quite a few Dragons fans in the NRL love to have him back on social media.
Just rewatch that Try back against Saints, think about how many he might have had if it weren't for the sending off and enjoy the fact that we have the current best player in Super League, and Try not to look for deficiencies that aren't there.

| Dufty lights up RL with his pace and agility. One of the few players in SL that are genuinely exciting to watch.

Brilliant game to watch. Outsider looking in, I thought that Warrington had rot that would fester within the club but Burgess seems to have brought new life and energy to your club. A lot of people mocked his appointment but I had a gut feeling that Burgess would surprise a lot of people, he lacks experience but he's one hell of a character.
If this match had been played a few years ago, under the same circumstances, I don't think Warrington come out with the win. The poor referee decisions, being down to 11 players and then losing one of your most experienced players would buckle most teams. Immense performance, especially the youngsters being brought through your academy.
Watching Paul Vaughan wind up the Saints players in the last few minutes topped off a very entertaining night, lovely bit of sh*thousery

Must admit, when him & Fitzgibbon are on the park they do seem to have the knack of winding up opposition players....I bloody love it!

| In the cold light of day (and go easy on me!)......
Still a brilliant win.
Unbelievable defensive effort when down to 11, but can't believe the lack of organization by the Saints halves. Inept.
Saints injury list did affect them far more than ours.
Harrisons sending off - well for me there was no 'intent' but shoulder does make contact with the head. Interestingly did you notice that it was Harrison that had the HIA, not the Saints player? He carried on - which was a suprise. (There is a quote saying he was told to stay down. IF that was to influence the ref it's deplorable).
Ref - a mixed bag. I don't think it was all 'anti Wire'.
Sky mics in the camp - seen it before but I thought it gave a great insight (albeit in very 'sound bite' clips).
Burgess - loved the quotes and the whole positivity from him with the guys. His stature keeps growing - you can see how the guys want to play for him. They've seen him play. They know he was an icon when playing. His reputation keeps growing. He instills confidence in the players - particularly Dufty.
Currie - because he now gets his hands on the ball more we're seeing some of his best football. And ability to still play centre is a real bonus.

| Outstanding win for you guys. That showed a mental toughness that I never expect to see from a Warrington team and I don’t think has been seen much before, which I thinks really adds credence to this iteration of the team being different. You’ve always had a talented team that can play good rugby, but now you have one that can knuckle down and face adversity and come out the other side with a win. Hard to beat any team playing with 12 for so long, even more so with a spell with 11, never mind a team like us that are usually so hard to break down in general.
As for us, thought we were very poor. I would say our defence was uncharacteristically poor, but your lot tore us apart in the cup too so it’s more likely that your style of rugby is just one that we struggle to contain. However, in attack we were absolutely abysmal. Poor discipline and a lack of organisation. It’s like we expected that we’d score just as a virtue of having more players and didn’t bother to try and come up with a plan to maximise that advantage, and when faced with the desperation and fight from your defence just didn’t know what to do.
Before this game I still thought that when it came to the business end of the season, I’d still back us to beat you in the play offs with our guys back. Now I don’t think like that, and I don’t really want to play you. Going to be hard to see past a Wigan v Wire final this year now.
That said, pity about all the embarrassing whinging about the ref earlier in this thread.

Yes it was a good post apart from that last little dig.
It's not for me to judge whether the anti ref posts are embarrassing or not (each to their own). I'd say that they were typical of in game comments from all teams supporters, when the tide could have turned based on the officiating.
We (the sport not just Wire) all yearn for consistency don't we? On the big stuff I'd say that Harrisons Red was as expected. I think it was accidental and not malicious BUT the other way around we'd be disappointed in a only a Yellow. Nicholson's was a Yellow but where was their guy's Yellow for similar?
The six agains....
