The article is for Patreon subscribers only, I don't subscribe but the title suggests 2 clubs are in for him and John Davidson is a reliable source.

| Dwyer looked lively in the friendly, but understandably behind Walker and Powell. Good luck to him, and it frees up a (presumably small) bit of cap space.

| It makes sense for him to leave, walker is capable of big minutes and Powell is ahead of him in the pecking order as well. Hayes and ratchford could cover 9, in the event of a few injuries/ suspensions.

| With injuries, HIA absences and silly bans, clubs are going to need lots of squad depth this season, so I'd only be OK with Dwyer leaving if we can bring someone else in as a result of it. I'm hoping that must be the reason behind it.

My thoughts exactly. A few injuries & unnecessary bans could leave clubs with seriously depleted squads & affect what is left of the product on the pitch.

Ben Harthill who played in the same Academy Team as Leon Hayes is a good prospect as a specialist hooker and wouldn`t let us down if he got the odd game this season. He created the space in the Widnes 1st Team defence for Hayes to slice through and pass to Taylor-Wray in the recent friendly game.
We need to continue to develop our own players where possible, and not import as many as we have in the past

| If we're trying to offload Dwyer do we have someone in mind to sign with his wage adding to the remaining salary cap?
